At McLeish Eyecare, we provide the most thorough eye examinations as standard. The use of the most advanced technology ensures we have the best possible picture of your eyes. For example, a state-of-the-art scanner* shows us deep into your eyes and the surrounding areas, whilst the visual field machine detects early signs of diseases such as glaucoma.

A thorough eye examination is about so much more than how well you see. Our eye examinations can detect conditions at a stage when they can be managed and even, in some cases, reversed. Did you know an eye examination can even detect signs of other health conditions, such as heart disease, strokes, tumours and diabetes? Our optometrists are incredibly well qualified and experienced, so using the latest technology, combined with their expertise, means you are in very safe hands.

*If you opt for the NHS-only eye examination, you will not receive the retinal scan. There is a small additional fee for this service but hopefully the peace of mind makes it worth it.
